Generating a Word document from collaboratively edit structured content in you Plone Website

For a governent agency we are developing a new Plone 5.2 website where a department can collaboratively edit and publish a required plan for water management. One of the requirements is to 'export parts of the website as a document that can be presented to parliament as a proposal for the next six years.

We will show that with minor modifications you can use the 'content management' syste Plone as a collaborative working environment. One of the advantages of using Plone is t that, once you have a basic document and exporting/publishing workflow in place, you can use the extensability of Plone to add further requirements on the content or the workflow.

The choice for Word as an export format limits the scope of the complications and issues you have with exporting to other formats, we will share some experiences on that from earlier projects and challenges in this one.
