So Plone theming is about using bower, grunt, requirejs and all kind of legacy tech, right?

Wrong! We can build all of our theme resources using modern tech, enabling us to leverage tools like webpack, babel, react, (almost) without any particular tricks and still serving the theme in the classic Diazo way (or not, if you prefer!). Join us in writing a modern frontend package for our Plone themes.
